MASH-UP: Comic art illustration

You are to produce an improvise comic art based on your
selection from a comic novel superhero/villain

Requirements A3 size digital illustration

PROCES

For this project we had to pick our favourite super hero and to illustrate them, first as a sketch, then to do it in Illustrator. The important thing was though that the illustration had to have "story", So it just wasn't only the character which was illustrated, but maybe the story about them as well.

I chose to illustrate Cat woman. And to start off with I found inspiration on Pinterest to see how others chose to illustrate that character or a similar one.

Then I started to sketch, to get an idea of the composition

Then I imported the sketch in illustrator, and started to illustrate the sketch. This I did by using the tools, such as shapes and the different brushes.

I also experiemned with different things, for example with the eyes, but i chose that it was better with just a simple look.
